
The temperature is about 91-94 degrees making it not too hot but not too cold. The cave has a natural spring with a diameter of about 40 feet and is 60 feet deep! There is a hot tub structure where you can sit and relax or you can grab a life jacket and float in the deep pool with the scuba divers. At the homestead crater, you will enjoy a therapeutic soak in the famous hot spring cave.

On the way, we will tell you local stories and fun jokes about the area. After lunch, we will drive you to the homestead crater, which is a 30 minute drive away from Park City. After the tour, we will drop you off at a local restaurant and you will be able to have lunch on your own. Snowshoe and Hot Springs Cave Excursion (5-6hrs) We will pick you up in Park City and take you on our two hour local snowshoe tour. We also provide complimentary waters and granola bars! All our snowshoe tours include transportation from your Park City lodging, the snowshoe rental, poles, and overshoes to keep your tennis shoes warm and dry in case you don’t have boots or waterproof shoes.

We always say, “If you can walk, you can snowshoe!” Snowshoeing requires no previous experience so anybody can do this activity regardless of age and shape level. A Park City snowshoe tour is an excellent way to get a better feel for the area, see the wildlife that thrives in the woods and fields, and perhaps exercise those underused thigh muscles too.

Snowshoeing among the Wasatch Mountains is a special thrill for anyone willing to slow down and enjoy the beauty. If you are staying outside the Park City area, we can meet you in a central Park City location or we can pick you up for an additional fee. Most of our local trailheads are within 10 minutes from the main street area. Our snowshoeing tours begin and end with us picking you up at your lodging in the Park City area.
